Day 47 - Self-Discipline

Well, my run as Maria in "Man of La Mancha" officially ended with our last show on Sunday evening, followed by a fun cast party.

I was blessed to be a part of such a great musical and my character was pretty funny (if I do say so myself).

I'm keeping up the diet and exercise, back into Ketosis this week and this morning's weight was 138 (goal weight has always been 135).

A big job interview happened recently, still waiting to hear if I got hired. If so, I'll be travelling constantly, but my family and I are prepared for it. Travel will be all over the world...pretty exciting to think about all the upcoming adventures and the fact that I'll be moving so much that my physique will surely change even more...hooray!

Day 42 - Self-Discipline

I wore my Calvin Klein suit to work today, but it's definitely getting altered! Wow, it needs about two inches of reduction everywhere...gonna cost me, but it's one of my favorite suits!

Day 36 - Self-Discipline

Well, to make a long story short, I have been so busy between work and rehearsals for "Man of La Mancha" I've not had even five minutes to write much here.

I'm currently back on my regular weight loss menu. I went back to Lindora and started on Metabolic Adjustment, but everything failed. Now, I don't mean failed in a bad way, it's just the amounts of intake and the schedules coupled with an emergency root canal (where I could only eat jello and soup for days) caused an imbalance in following the plan to a "T."

The good news here is that I'm down to 138, so I've been keeping with the rhythm as it were. I still have 3-5 pounds to lose, depending on fluctuating weight, possible plateaus, etc. The goal is still 130-135 pounds so I can shed the small tire I still have lingering.

Next week, I'm planning to go back for a B12 booster.

Day 26 - Self-Discipline (Current Measurements)

The proof is in the pudding! Lindora Works!

Current Measurements:
Arm: 12.5
Chest: 37
Abdomen: 32.5
Hips: 38
Thigh: 21

Measurements two weeks into program:
Arms: 14
Chest: 38.5
Abdomen: 34
Hips: 40
Thigh: 22.6

Well, I actually got in to see my nurse Jennifer this morning and I'm now on a Metabolic Adjustment period for two weeks. Then, we'll trick the body back into Ketosis so I can shed this last five pounds which now has reached its plateau. It's going to be interesting, to say the least. I have to upload the carbs and proteins, a little hesitant, but I know it will work so I'm going to follow it just as strictly as all the other steps. 

Weeded out more fat clothes from the closet, that's a great feeling! Cache, I'll see you next month for new duds!

Day 25 - Self-Discipline

Well, this morning I went to the Lindora clinic to get my first booster shot since my trip to New York. 

I have a lot of water retention at the moment and I weighed in at 142.

Last Friday, I got more Keto Sticks and I'm happy to report I've been keeping up a "Small to Medium" level all weekend! 

Whooo hooo!! I also noticed yesterday that an older short-sleeved dress shirt was BIG around my arms!  So, later this week I need to make a point to get back to the clinic and get my measurements done once again.

Day 20 - Self-Discipline (Began Power 90)

Today was my second day of doing "Power 90 - Sweat." I am gearing up to get into P90x (thanks to my brother for giving me a copy of his).

Today is Protein Day - Lindora was having a great sale so this week I've stocked up on a variety of foods, especially soups for the Fall cooler temps. This morning, it was Maple/Brown Sugar Oatmeal and it was really good. I did my workout and had that and a lot of water thusfar. Ketosis seems to be dwindling, maybe a solid protein day will fix that. I have a few more pounds to lose, it seems to all be just dwindling around my mid-section.

I'm taking this afternoon off to start clearing out clothes that are now way too big on me.

My friend is having a baby, so I gave her a top the other night. She's gained a good amount of weight from the pregnancy, so she can really use them until she gets back to her normal size. Baby is just two weeks away...fun!
